The Legal stuff you agree too

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and BeReal API Documentation ("Site") governing your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use the Site.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, the Site grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal and non-commercial use.

By accessing the Site, you expressly waive any and all legal rights you may have to sue, take down, or engage in any action that would harm the Site or its operators, including but not limited to any claims or actions arising from your use of the Site, its content, or any interactions with other users. This waiver applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Reporting Security Issues

As part of agreeing to this Agreement, you understand and agree that if you discover any security vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or any other issues related to the Site's security, the BeReal app, or the underlying infrastructure, you will promptly and responsibly report them to the Site's operators. You acknowledge that failing to report such issues would be negligent and may harm the Site, BeReal app, and its users.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and without any warranty or representation, express or implied. The Site and its operators do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the Site or its content. You acknowledge that any reliance on the Site or its content is at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Site and its operators from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site, your violation of this Agreement, or any infringement by you of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.

7. User Responsibility

By accessing the Site, you understand and agree that any attempt to cause damage to the Site, BeReal app, or its users by hacking, unauthorized access, or exposure of customer data is unacceptable and strictly prohibited. You acknowledge that such actions are harmful and detrimental to the Site and BeReal, and you agree to refrain from engaging in any such activities. Any violation of this provision will result in immediate termination of this Agreement and may subject you to legal consequences.

8. Termination

The Site reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and your access to the Site at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to your violation of this Agreement or any applicable law.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Site regarding your use of the Site, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.


By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use the Site.
